Dr. Hannelore Talamoa is committed to whole-person health and is passionate about making health accessible to every person and every body. Dr. Hannelore received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science before moving to Portland to continue her education at the University of Western States. There she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating summa cum laude.

Dr. Hannelore was initially inspired to study human movement by her involvement in sports and dealing with overuse injuries. As she explored various healthcare fields, the holistic, non-invasive, and functional approach of chiropractic care deeply resonated with her. A background in movement contributes to Dr. Hannelore’s well-rounded approach to healing that considers the lifestyle factors and the physical components of pain and injury.

Through her own journey with a chronic health condition, Dr. Hannelore has learned the importance of practitioners that partner with the patient to move toward their health goals. This personal experience has shaped her as a healthcare professional and contributes to her comprehensive approach and calming presence.

Dr. Hannelore is trained in diversified adjusting, activator method, and drop table as well as soft tissue techniques including cupping, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, pin-and-stretch, and myofascial release. She utilizes stretches, corrective movements, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate long-term improvement.

In her free time, Dr. Hannelore can typically be found in one of the many coffee shops in Portland or driving all over the PNW with her husband and their dog Odie. She enjoys good food, reading, and spending time with friends.
