Dr. Katanah Olson founded Healthy Living Chiropractic in 2009 after earning her Bachelor of Science from Portland State University. She then completed a four-year program at Western States Chiropractic College, graduating with honors in 2006. Her commitment to sports medicine led her to pursue a year-long postgraduate course, earning the designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician® (CCSP) from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians® in 2011.

With a background as a competitive gymnast and a member of the University of Oregon Dance Team, Dr. Olson has a strong understanding of exercise physiology and nutrition. She equips her patients with the tools they need to prevent future injuries and promote a healthier lifestyle.
Dr. Olson employs a conservative, non-invasive, holistic approach to care, recognizing that each patient responds differently. She is trained in various manipulation and soft tissue techniques, including Graston, pin and stretch, and myofascial release, and is a certified practitioner of Active Release Technique (ART)™, helping patients restore normal muscle function.
In her practice, Dr. Olson also utilizes the FAKTR Rehab System for new patient assessments, employing evidence-based methods to identify the root causes of pain and dysfunction, allowing for more effective treatment.
In addition to treating sports injuries, she also manages cases involving motor vehicle accident trauma, neck and back pain, muscle tension, joint issues, sprains, repetitive stress injuries and pregnancy related pain.
Outside of her practice, Dr. Olson enjoys training for marathons and participating in Peloton classes from home. Understanding the challenges of balancing motherhood and marriage, she is dedicated to helping her busy patients find effective core-strengthening programs that fit their schedules.
